Using Your E-Mail Signature to its Fullest
I’ve had email conversations with popular producers, companies that create audio products, and obviously people who are just asking questions here at Beatstruggles regarding audio production.
When I see they are not taking full advantage of their email signature, I just see so many missed opportunities!
For those who are totally ignorant to what an e-mail signature is, it is a section at the bottom of each of your emails that allows you to write anything you want.
It’s a huge opportunity for marketing towards anyone you’re emailing!
Best practices of what to write are:
- Your Name / Job Position / Producer Name
- Your Website
- Social Media Links
- Phone Number (If you want people to know that)
- Work Address

The whole idea of an email signature is to leave options for people to continue finding out more info about you.
After your email conversation, they may click on a link in your signature. They could now be browsing your beats!
Or, they maybe clicked your twitter link inside your signature, now they’ve followed you!
It’s just such a simple way to leave the door open for more opportunities.
If you’re not taking full advantage of your email signature, you’re missing free opportunities in your online marketing.
E-Mail signatures are usually always available, no matter what email provider you use: Gmail, Hotmail, or even your website’s email platform.
