How Do You Manage Your Online Twitter Presence?

Lately, I’ve found social media to be way too time consuming. Now, with the addition of SoundPackFlyer, and my personal website, I thought one twitter account was enough to look after!

I wanted a platform that was free, and looked after all my social media content (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, etc.), however, didn’t have much success with the software choices I downloaded. So I went with TweetDeck for easier access on Twitter.

Why TweetDeck?

Well, I really like to be able to manage all my accounts from one screen, instead of having to login and out over and over to tweet on a separate accounts!

TweetDeck - Schedule Tweet

Next, the ability to schedule posts is really handy for websites such as Beatstruggles, and SoundPackFlyer. Simply think about what you want to send ahead of time, schedule it out throughout the day (or month if you want to get that organized), and your twitter promotion life is set for the time you’ve scheduled!

This allows your profile to stay active, sharing content you’ve previously created, while you could be out for a walk, or grocery shopping :).

Social media does take a lot of effort, and honestly, if you’re site isn’t popular, it can really be a place where you are putting effort into, where you will see minimal results!

So, if you were to schedule your tweets, you no longer have to focus on social media everyday. If you see where I’m going, this can be a real time saver, allowing you to focus on more important things in life.

TweetDeck is Outdated?

Now, I’ve read a lot of down-talk of TweetDeck, on how it used to be so good. My motive behind using TweetDeck is to easily manage all my twitter accounts! And honestly, I feel it does that great!

Would I Recommend TweetDeck?

Yes, even for a single account, I still feel TweetDeck has its benefits. It’s free, you can manage multiple twitter accounts, it looks great, you can schedule tweets, and again, it’s free ;). I personally use the Desktop version.

I’m not sure how long I’ll be using it for, as I’m on a hunt for a software that allos for sharing on Facebook, Linkedin, and Twitter all at the same time. (Again, saving time to focus on other things in life, as social media isn’t what it’s all cracked up to be).

So, if you’ve heard of/use any free social media platforms of the like, please share :). (While writing this, I have come across Yoono, so I’ll be checking that out!).

Just clicked on it. Not really impressed with it due to the limit it has. I’m always on the go so I hope they come out with a mobile app. Love your site by the way especially the mix/master category!

Hmm.. I’ve found it really hard to find a platform like TweetDeck. It’s been a stressful search, and all sites when searching Google seem to come out with the same answers! ๐Ÿ™ — For mobile, I honestly like the Twitter app, being able to switch users is pretty quick. Since there’s so many companies to choose from, and many of them limit what they offer on the free version, it’s a complicating endeavor.. lol Definitely caused me some headaches!

      And thanks 4dolo ๐Ÿ™‚

Yea you are right! I’m upset that they discontinued the tweetdeck app. I really liked it. The twitter app is very useful which is why I still use it. Hopefully they will open up a variety of new things to do with it.

Haha, the reason for this blog post, telling readers about the benefits of TweetDeck managing multiple twitter accounts at ease ๐Ÿ™‚

Hope your productions are going well 4dolo,

I recommend hootsuite. It lets you handle your twitter and facebook account at the same time!

      Hey 4dolo,

I tried Hootsuite awhile back.. what made me want to change is the sub-text they’d add with each post on Facebook. It’d be something like “Sent via Hootsuite”, or something along those lines.

I haven’t had an opportunity to check out that Yoono software yet.. it looks good, but we’ll see. If it turns out great, I’ll definitely put out a post about it, as quick social media is key. Social media takes a lot of time for what one gets out of it..

      Thanks for the comment ๐Ÿ™‚

Awesome! If you check it out before I do, let me know your thoughts!

Also, I mentioned it in the bottom of this post.
