God Isn’t Real, Prove It!
Well.. how can one prove God is real..
You can look outside at the trees, the birds, other animals, and other creation for that matter.
Okay.. but that still doesn’t make me believe.
Okay.. well then why do you wear clothes?
What do you mean.. clothes?
Well that’s my question. Why do you wear clothes?
There has to be a reason why we wear them. There is always an answer to questions, and those who seek for the answer, will find that answer.
Let me get to the point.
When God created the world, Adam and Eve were NAKED!
Not just naked, but UNASHAMED!
Where are you getting this information.. fill me in!
Well to get a better understanding of the full story, you should probably read the beginning of Genesis. Read chapters 1-4 here.
But I’ll get right to the point:
25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
So we first read Adam and Eve were naked in the beginning and unashamed!
So.. how does this prove God is real?
Well.. Adam and Eve were unashamed and naked.. Why do we wear clothes now?
Cause Adam and Eve sinned!
Genesis 3:6-7 (Especially verse 7)
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
Once Adam and Eve ate of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, they realized they were naked and have now become ashamed! Therefore, they sewed fig leaves together for their clothing. (The starting of us wearing clothes!).
8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.
9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
Since Adam and Eve sinned, they now felt guilty and ashamed for being naked. Therefore, they clothed themselves to hide their shame from God!
So how does that mean God is real?
Well how doesn’t it?
You give me another reason why we wear clothes today. Sure to keep us warm in the winter, but what about in the summer when it’s hot?
This is the only reason we wear clothes and I have provided solid Biblical facts to prove it every step of the way.
Ok.. if this “God” is real, why does He allow bad things to happen to people:
Well.. I guess you have to define what you mean as “bad things that happen to people”.
Many “bad things that happen to us” are because of our own actions. Not knowing right from wrong, and therefore choosing wrong which leads us into sin and corruption. Then people complain “God has done this because of.. who’s actions?”. Many times our own.
Here’s a Scripture Jesus said about this subject:
1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
Quit trying to prove God isn’t real, and read the facts.
How can you say something you know nothing about? Or give an opinion to something you “think” rather than know?
Want me to show you how Merciful “this God” is?
Even after Adam and Eve broke God’s promise to them of not eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, God still had more mercy on them than any of us would any day.
What did He do?
He clothed them.
21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
If that isn’t love, I really don’t know what is.
Even after breaking God’s promise, He still clothed them. God’s heart was probably so broken, yet out of love, clothed them.
So if God isn’t real, then why do we wear clothes?
Cause we are sinners.
But thanks be to God that Jesus has saved us from our sin, through His sacrifice on the cross, setting the captives free because of His Blood, and redeeming the lost.
